Client Engagement Manager AEC Industry

We are looking for an experienced and talented Client Engagement Manager to join the Gafcon Digital team.

Client Engagement Manager: Gafcon Digital provides exceptional value in the delivery of digital building lifecycle services (digital twin), and packaged service solutions to our clients. The Client Engagement Manager serves a key role and the primary point of contact for Gafcon Digital clients and stakeholders. With a focus on business development, the Client Engagement Manager will identify the needs of clients and provide outstanding service while adhering to Gafcon Digital core values and standards. With clients, the Client Engagement Manager will build trust, confidence, and rapport while assessing and addressing their needs. The Client Engagement Manager will ensure successful delivery of programs with our clients, including providing leadership and direction throughout the sales process and planning, management, and account development post-sale.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for our enterprise customers and the operational aspects of the project.
  • Lead regular status meetings with project team, customers, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong focus on overall customer success.
  • Scope project engagements and formalizing scope in a Statement of Services.
  • Monitor and manage project financials, scope, and schedule to ensure that projects stay on track for assigned customer projects.
  • Create documentation to meet customer’s requirements and facilitate migration, testing, and training initiatives.
  • Assist in development of methodology; possessing the ability to assess risks in process, people, or technology to adjust project plans and address accordingly.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to project team members.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make strategic decisions.
  • Achieve published company utilization targets.
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism, and confidence while driving projects to completion.
  • Understand and manage implementation of core areas of Digital Twin functionality (Concept, Design, Construction, Operations, Assets) – be willing to jump in and be hands-on when needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in leading Digital Transformation initiatives, including in a Technical Project Management role.
  • 8+ years in relevant experience.
  • BA or BS degree (technical degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing project budgets, deadlines, and scope.
  • Ability to work with the sales team on scoping and sizing new project proposals and post-sales for existing customers.
  • Exemplary and proactive communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships.
  • Continuously seeking new ways to improve existing project management processes to strengthen the Gafcon Digital delivery methodology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Project Management tools.
  • Significant exposure and knowledge of Digital Twin and BIM.
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills.
  • Tech-oriented and understands market trends, particularly with Owner’s and AEC Industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment and an enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience in a professional services or consulting organization.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
