Software Integration Developer

We are looking for an experienced and talented Software Integration Developer to build and maintain software integrations across multiple platforms for our organization and clients. In this role, you will identify, plan, and execute integration strategies, create tools for end users and other developers, and maintain as well as optimize your builds. To ensure success as an integration developer, you will need to have analytical and problem-solving abilities and be able to work in several programming languages. A top-notch integration developer can creatively solve integration problems and is comfortable writing and maintaining complex systems.

  • Develop strategies and build integration solutions using multiple architectures including but not limited to, ASP.NET, C/C++, C#, REST APIs, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, JSON, and 3rd Party API Utilization.
  • Implementation/integration of standardized industry wide protocols such as MQTTS, AMPQS, gRPC, HTTPs.
  • Connection of data, applications, APIs, and devices creating greater efficiency, productivity, and agility.
  • Define system specifications, input/output processes and hardware or software compatibility.
  • Modify custom tools and engage in new tool development.
  • Create professional technical documentations and present for internal and external use.
  • Devising and reporting on integration development plans and strategies.
  • Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that integration projects are completed on time.
  • Ensuring that best practices in integration processes are followed by the organization.
  • Checking and correcting conflicts in data configurations and overlaps.
  • Maintaining the integrity and smooth functioning of the company's integration architecture.
  • Analyzing and improving current system integrations and migration strategies.
  • Identifying new areas of technology opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s or bachelor's in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • Five years' experience as a programmer or computer scientist or engineer.
  • Excellent knowledge of two or more programming languages (C#, C++, Java, Python, or others). We are open to experience with a variety of languages, if you are willing to learn our tech stack.
  • Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs.
  • Knowledge in microservice architectures, networking and/or actor frameworks.
  • Experience building and operating web services, IaaS, PaaS on Azure, Google, or AWS.
  • Superior programming skills that relate to code development, maintenance, and implementation.
  • Meticulous knowledge of integrations, development processes, and integration architectures.
  • Interpersonal skills along with the ability to work in a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and fix errors in complex code.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform tasks independently.
  • Good presentation and report-writing skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: 
  • GUI / UX development
  • Game Engine development experience (Unity or Unreal 4.0)
  • Experience with Autodesk API development including the Forge API
  • IoT hardware / software experience
