John Niles to speak at Groundbreak 2022

Optimizing Asset Performance and Sustainability with Digital Twins for Commissioning and Handover

Gafcon Digital Technology Consultant John Niles will join a panel of experts at Groundbreak 2022 hosted by Procore from November 7-9 in New Orleans. He will be joined by Ivan Panushev (Amazon Web Services) and Josh Lowe (AkitaBox). The panel will be moderated by Jeremy Chasen (Procore).

The session will provide the perspective of owners and general contractors on the state of reality capture technologies. The panelists will take a deep dive into the tools and techniques necessary for streamlining reality capture, understand how it can play a larger role in developing digital twins through Procore's common data environment, review how the AWS IoT TwinMaker service can extend the value of Procore data and explore best practices that will assist the value of the data at the end of the project.
